Breathing Through the Impossible tells the true story of Laura and her husband, Bill, whose lives begin with an easy high school friendship and grow into a marriage built on love, teamwork, and faith. They raise two children while Bill works long retail hours and dreams of owning a landscaping business, a dream that comes true after an unexpected job loss, becoming a blessing in disguise.
Life changed in 2015 after a strange sting on Bill's neck was followed by swelling, fatigue, and shortness of breath. Tests reveal the devastating diagnosis of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, a terminal lung disease with a two-to-five-year prognosis.
Laura turns to prayer and discovers Duke University Hospital. Their marriage, strengthened through suffering and faith, becomes a testament to endurance and God's provision. What began as a devastating diagnosis becomes a story of perseverance, prayer, and unmistakable miracles, a true double miracle.

Laura Yuro
Laura Yuro is a devoted wife to her husband, Bill; a proud mother to their daughter, Ashley, and son-in-law, Rich; and to their son, Mitchell, and his wife, Andrea; and is a loving grandmother to her cherished granddaughter, Cassandra (Cassie). Originally from Monmouth County, New Jersey, Laura now makes her home in Iredell County, North Carolina. For more than twenty-eight years, Laura has been employed by International Flavors & Fragrances, Inc., where she serves as an Associate Manager.
Outside of her professional life, she finds her greatest joy in spending quality time with her family and the family dogs, Marty, Onyx, and Skol, as well as supporting Cassie's competitive cheer pursuits and assisting Ashley with cheer coaching at the local middle school.
Laura lives her life anchored in faith, fully devoted to God and to the purpose He has placed upon her heart.
