Sharlene Langner is a new children's book writer who loves inspiring people to transform their lives. Her first book is an inspiration to all to learn something new, overcome fears, and celebrate.

Although Sharlene is retired from a corporate learning and development career, she keeps busy with her family, friends, church, studying art, swimming, and selling at a women's boutique.  Sharlene especially loves spending time with her almost 14 year old dog, Blue.  He's retired, too - but he can still learn new tricks!

As a three-year cancer patient, Sharlene found writing about Auntie Shar enabled her to focus on a positive mindset and humor. Her debut book is a true story of her journey to learn to swim at 65 years old.  Sharlene wanted to share this underlying message and encourage kids of all ages - that it is never too late to learn something new.
