Hiding No More

Depression and despair are running rampant today.
With all the scientific breakthroughs, our many medical advances and our ease of access to limitless amounts of information, the topic of mental health is still taboo in most circles.
Those who struggle are often alone, blame themselves, and are too afraid to reach out for help. They suffer in silence… with nowhere to turn.
That’s why I am telling my story. I have been a Christian for over fifty years and am sharing my battle with depression and anxiety. I suffered with undiagnosed mental health issues for most of my life.
For over fifty years, I played Hide and Seek with God. But that game came to an abrupt halt in 2022.
For 27 months, I agonized through an extensive journey of fear, anxiety, and depression. This experience caused me to reflect on my painful experiences and events that unquestionably affected me and shaped me into the man I have become. But God has given me a prevailing victory and set me completely free.
This book is both a story of the frailty and fickleness of mankind and the grace and kindness of our loving, heavenly Father.
